Probational Overseer Eleazar Nimoh

Pro/Ovr. Eleazar Nimoh was born on April 4th, 1991 at Etobicoke General Hospital in North York, Canada. He is a twin brother of Pro/Ovr. Ebenezer Nimoh. Both of them were brought up in CoP Canada from the tender age of 4 years old.  He currently holds a Bachelors of Arts with Honours from York University with a concentration in Law & Society and also holds a Masters of Social Work from University of Calgary. He is currently working as a school social worker with Durham District School Board and also a psychotherapist in private practice.  He along with Pro/Ovr. Ebenezer Nimoh and Elder Jude Biney planted PENSA at York University and served as the first Vice-President in its inaugural year from 2011-2013 and President from 2013-2014. He also has served mightily in roles at the local level in the youth ministry and music ministry. Pro/Ovr. Eleazar currently serves as the resident minister of Downtown City- PIWC Toronto. He holds a certificate in Theology from Pentecost Biblical Seminary College, Wayne, New Jersey USA. Pro/Ovr. Eleazar Nimoh is married to Judith Nimoh who works as a Human Resource Advisor with Canada Revenue Agency. They are blessed with their first child Levi Nimoh. He thoroughly enjoys connecting individuals with supports within the community. He also enjoys competitive sports, musical arrangements of various genres and listening to public speakers.

Prob. Overseer Kwabena Kesseh

Probationary Overseer Kwabena Kesseh was born in Agona in the Ashanti region of Ghana. He lived in Spintex, Accra and later in Axim in the Western region of Ghana before relocating to Canada in 2015.  He accepted the Lord Jesus at a tender age and was baptized in the Holy Spirit at a youthful age. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Ghana and a Master’s degree in Indigenous Studies from the University of Winnipeg. He is currently working with the Manitoba Government. He has served in different capacities in the COP including the Youth ministry at Axim-Western region, District Men’s ministry-Winnipeg, Evangelism Ministry, Presiding Elder at PIWC Brandon where he is currently the Overseer and a key player in the planting of Brandon Church. He is a gifted preacher and teacher of the word of God. He holds a certificate in Lay ministry from the Pentecost Bible College-USA. Overseer Kwabena Kesseh is married to Deaconess Gloria Odartei-a civil servant with Manitoba Government and blessed with two children Nana Boateng Kesseh and Gracielle Gyamfuah Kesseh. He enjoys reading and travelling.

Prob. Overseer Steve Felix Wiredu

Probationary Overseer Steve Wiredu was brought up in a godly home. He was converted upon hearing an exhortation at a scripture union meeting as a student at Presec -Legon in 1993 and accepted Jesus Christ as His LORD and Saviour. He joined the McKeown Worship Center of the Church of Pentecost Canada in 2001. He was baptized by immersion in 2001 and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit in 2002. From March 2010 to June 2022, he and his family fellowshipped at the Oakville District until being called into Bi-Vocational Ministry and stationed at St. Catharines District.  P/O Steve Wiredu holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), in Accounting, from the University of Ghana and a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) in Taxation from Brock University. He has Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant (CA) designations. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. He is pursuing his Master of Laws (LLM) at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University. He has had a progressive career in finance, having worked at a large Canadian Public Accounting Firm for 18 years where he is currently a Tax Director.    P/O Steve Wiredu was ordained as a Deacon in 2008 and as an Elder in 2009. He was called into a Bi-Vocational Ministry as a Probationary Overseer in 2022. He is a profound expositor of the word, a servant leader and a great administrator. Prior to his calling into ministry, he was a National Executive Member and the National Deacon (2020-2022) of the Church of Pentecost Canada. Additionally, he served as Secretary/Member of the National Finance Board (2007-2022), National Pension’s Board (2019-2022), National Audit Board (2010-2022), National Publicity Committee (2007-2015) and an executive member of PPN. He also served in the Eastern Canada/GTA Area as an Area Executive Member and the Area Deacon (2010-2017) and held leadership appointments in the District and Local Levels.  He is currently pursuing Pentecostal Studies at the Pentecost Bible Seminary at Wayne, New Jersey, USA.  P/O Steve Wiredu is happily married to Dora, a Child Protection/Social Worker. They are blessed with four children – Stephanie, Anne, Abigail and Samuel.  He is an avid reader.

Probational Overseer Yaw Osei

Yaw Osei was born in Kwamang in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. He relocated to Toronto, Canada in 2000. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal Savior in 1998. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from York University, Toronto. He also has certificates in Life Licence Qualification Program (LLQP) and Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO). He worked as a Financial / Insurance Advisor with infinity Retirement Solutions (Canada). He also works as Travel advisor/agent with Impress Travel (Canada). He has held several positions in the Church. He is the Chairman of the Area Audit committee, North York Area. He has served as National Audit committee member since 2012. He also served as National Men’s Ministry secretary from 2012 -2015. Overseer Osei is the current Peel district Pastor responsible for Martinson Yeboah Assembly (MYA), Mississauga and Brampton Assembly. Overseer Osei is married to Mrs. Theresa Osei, a Fashion Designer and they are blessed with three children: Matthew Kwadwo Osei, Delmon Ampeabeng Osei and Christine Nyarkowah Osei. Overseer Osei likes soccer, basketball and reading.

Probational Overseer Joseph Gayin

Prob. Ovr. Joseph Gayin was born in Accra to Christian parents of the Methodist faith. His life was influenced by the faith-based schools he attended at the primary and secondary levels where the strict leadership and ideals of the schools ensured that students were modelled to reflect strict self and imposed discipline, which were coded in regulations of the institutions. Selflessness, respect for the dignity of man and devotion to God were some of the key values built into students to shape their lives to serve society and God. His life was also greatly influenced and inspired by his maternal grandmother who served as a deaconess of the Church of Pentecost for many years and ensured that he was baptized into the church and stayed active and dedicated.  Involvement in church activities began during his undergraduate studies at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana. As a member of Pentecost Students and Associates (PENSA), he was challenged by the ideals of the group and began to take up responsibilities and active roles in the choir (King’s praise) as well as Bible study. His leadership role was recognized and given the opportunity to serve as secretary of the group during his final year of study.  He joined the Pentecost International Worship Center (PIWC) at Kokomlemle, Accra where he ministered in music (Royal Vessels) and served in the then Pentecost Youth and Evangelistic Ministry (PENTYEM) and Witness Movement (now Evangelism ministry) Leadership. His gift of leadership was noticed and has since been mentored by many Elders and Pastors of the church. He first served as a Deacon and later as an Elder of the church. After a short stay with the PIWC at midway, he worshipped with the Oakville District after his graduate study in food science at the University of Guelph. He was given the opportunity to serve as Presiding Elder at Oakville in August 2018 till June 2022. He currently serves as a member of the Pentecost School Board and stationed at Sudbury. In his secular work, Pro. Ovr Joseph Gayin worked as a Research Scientist with the Food Research Institute of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research in Ghana and with Maple Leaf Foods as Food Safety and Quality Assurance Professional. He holds a certificate from the Pentecost Biblical Seminary in the US in Lay-Ministry. Prob. Ovr. Joseph Gayin is married to Susuana Gayin and both are blessed with four children; Christopher, Jason, Jeffrey and Amanda Gayin.

Probational Overseer Derick Opoku

Probational Overseer Derick Opoku is currently the resident Minister for the Lethbridge-Brooks District in Western Alberta Area. He previously served as National PentMedia assistant leader for 6 years. He was a presiding Elder of the PIWC PEEL prior to his calling into full-time ministry. Coupled with his contagious spirit and passion for the work of God. He has also served in several capacities in the local Church including Assistant Youth leader, bus driver, and Audio-Visual leader of the Peel PIWC Church. Probational Overseer Derick Opoku was called into full-time ministry as a probationary overseer in 2022. Prior to his calling, he spent 14 years in the Information technology industry. He holds a Bachelor of commerce degree in E-commerce from Ontario Tech University (UOIT). He has a heart for youth ministry and longs to see more PENSA in the leadership of our thriving church. He is married to Dora Opoku and their marriage of 7 years is blessed with two lovely children, Isabella and Isaiah Opoku. He enjoys serving others in his community, learning novel things, playing sports, and staying up to date in technology.

Probational Overseer William Addo Addai

Pro. Ovr. William Addo Addai was born in Hamburg, Germany. He had his early childhood life in Germany and later relocated to Ghana, where he sent his youth days. He was born into a COP family, had a personal encounter with the Lord and got baptized by the Holy Spirit in 2003.  He has a Bachelor in Computer Science from Catholic University in Ghana, a Post Graduate Diploma of Advanced Computing for C-DAC`s Advanced Computing Training School (ARTS), Pune – India and Diploma of Management of Information System Institute for the Management of Information Systems – London. He worked in teaching field for 5 years before relocating to Canada in 2017.  Pro. Ovr. William Addo Addai was call into fulltime ministry in May 2022 and stationed in St. John’s Newfoundland before that he has served in the youth and evangelism ministries in Santa Maria district (Ghana) and Montreal district (Canada). Presided over the PIWC – Montreal and served as district secretary July 2018 – June 2022.  He is married to Grace Addai, a community worker and blessed with two children William-Liam Addai and Maryalicia Addobea Addai. He has interest in spots, sight-seeing and watching documentaries.

Probational Overseer Arnold Opoku

P. Ovr. Arnold Opoku is the eldest of two children born in Hamilton, Ontario to Mr. Sampson Opoku and Florence Opoku.   He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Ryerson University and is currently pursuing a degree in healthcare and is enrolled with Pentecost Biblical Seminary in pursuit to further education in ministry.  As a bi-vocational minister, Arnold works in the financial services sector.   Arnold currently serves as the Hamilton District Overseer and has served in various capacities at the National, Area, District and Local levels.  Some include National Estate Committee member, National Pension Board member, Area Executive member, District Secretary, Presiding Elder.  He is married to Emelia Opoku and they are blessed with 3 children, Faith, Abraham and Hope.

Overseer Emmanuel Osei-Marfo

Emmanuel Osei Marfo was born to Samuel Osei Bonsu of blessed memory and Mary Osei Sarpong in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. After completing Ghana Senior High School, Koforidua in 2008, he proceeded to the University of Ghana where he obtained an honours degree in Political Science with Sociology. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). After serving in the Ghanaian Civil and Local Government Service for a combined period of three years, he moved to Canada and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from Brock University. In Canada, Emmanuel worked with Accenture Operations as a digital marketing expert. He is currently pursuing his PhD degree at the University of Toronto. Emmanuel has served in various capacities in the Church, particularly in the Youth & Pensa Ministry in both Ghana and Canada. Until his call into ministry, he was the Youth Leader for Hamilton District and the Pensa Co-ordinator for the Scarboroh Area of the Church of Pentecost. Over. Emmanuel and his family were first stationed at New Life Worship Center, St. Catharines as the district minister from September 2021 to June 2022. He is currently the district minister for Scarborough District. Emmanuel is married to his lovely wife, Maame Serwaa Osei-Marfo. Maame holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Ghana (Linguistics and Chinese). She currently works as a Customer Service Representative. The couple have been blessed with three amazing children – Pearl, Samuel-Myles and Emmanuel Jr.
