Pastor & Mrs. Gabriel Addo-Asante

Pastor Gabriel Addo-Asante attended children’s Sunday school (COP) at a very young age through an auntie who was a staunch member of her local church. He received both Holy Ghost and water baptism in 1990. Pastor Addo became an assistant children’s Sunday school teacher after graduating from Sunday school. He later became an assistant Witness Movement leader at his local church in Ghana at a very young age. He was a regular preacher at most of the local witness movement crusades. Pastor Addo migrated to Canada in October 2000 and has since continued in the zeal and passion for the ministry of evangelism and church planting. He became the assistant local evangelism leader at the newly established Brampton assembly in the early 2000s. After relocating to Calgary in 2009, he was appointed the Calgary district evangelism leader from 2010 to 2013. He doubled as the Western Canada Area evangelism leader during that period until he was sent to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan as a Field Assistant. Pastor Addo was ordained an Elder in Calgary by the late Apostle Dr. Emmanuel Owusu Bediako in 2013. In January 2014, He and his family were sent to Saskatchewan where they planted the church in Saskatoon and assisted with the planting of the church in Regina. In 2015 he was appointed the National Evangelism Leader for the Church of Pentecost, Canada. Pastor Addo is a visionary leader and a church planter who has a passion for soul-winning and church planting. This was noticed during his time in Saskatchewan and was called into the full-time ministry in 2017. Pastor Addo and the family were transferred to Winnipeg, Manitoba as a Bi-Vocational minister in August 2017. During his time in Winnipeg, he worked so hard, and the lord blessed the church through his hard work and catapulted the church Winnipeg to a high level. Among such is the planting of the Brandon church which has since become a bi-vocational district. The churches planted in Saskatoon, and Regina have equally become districts with resident ministers. Pastor Addo was appointed the first Internal Missions Coordinator in October 2021. Since this appointment, the Lord has used Pastor Addo with the guidance and leadership of Aps. Ransford Obeng Gyamfi, the national head, many new grounds for church planting have been broken. Notable among them are Sudbury in Ontario and St. John’s in Newfoundland. Pastor Addo holds a Bachelor of Nursing Degree and had the privilege to work in all the major hospitals in Calgary, Alberta (Peter Lougheed, Foothills, Rockyview, and South Health Campus). Pastor Addo is married to Mrs. Eva Addo-Asante, and they are blessed with four children: Joel, Jaira, Josiah, and Jael.

Pastor & Mrs. Phillip Awereh Chemel

Pastor Philip Chemel is currently the National Youth Pastor and the resident Minister for Pentecost International Worship Centre Peel. He previously served as the Youth and Children’s Pastor. He was a co-opted member of the National Youth Executive prior to his calling into full time ministry. He has also served in several capacities in the local Church including local secretary, assistant local financial secretary and elder of the Peel PIWC Church. He is also the Country Representative for Pentecost Biblical Seminary and an instructor in homiletics and Counseling at Pentecost Biblical Seminary. Pastor Philip was called into full time ministry as a probationary overseer in 2015. Prior to his calling, he spent 11 years in the banking industry. He holds a BSc degree in Biological Sciences, Masters in Biomedical Sciences and an MBA in Finance. He has a heart for Youth ministry and longs to see more young people in ministry. He is married to Priscilla Chemel and their marriage of 7 years is blessed with two lovely children.

Pastor & Mrs. Joseph Tieku

Pastor Joseph Tieku currently shepherds North York District, McKeown Worship Center. He has been a member of the Church of Pentecost since 1984. He was ordained as a Deacon in 1992 and an Elder in 1995 at Suame Assembly in the then New Tafo District, Kumasi, Ghana. After his appointment as an Elder, Pastor Tieku held additional positions in the Church of Pentecost: Local Financial Secretary, Building Committee Member, District Financial Secretary, Bible Studies Leader, Area Deacon, Area Secretary and National Deacon.  He was called and ordained as a Probationary Overseer in 2012, Overseer in 2014, and a Pastor in 2015. Pastor Tieku attended (University of Professional Studies, Accra UPSA) University of Cape Coast, Ghana, and continued his education at London South Bank University in England where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree, Majoring in Accounting and Finance. He pursued the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) program at Financial Training Company and qualified as a Chartered Accountant 2004.  In November 2005, Pastor Tieku immigrated to join his family in Toronto, Canada and immediately enrolled in the Certified General Accountants (CGA) program, qualified and became a member in 2008. In 2009, Pastor became a Fellow in the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA-United Kingdom, and also became Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) Ontario in 2014. Pastor Tieku completed his Masters in Theological Studies at Tyndale University, Toronto, Ontario in May 2020.  Pastor Joseph Tieku is married to Jemima Tieku, who is a Registered Nurse and Nursing Educator. Mrs. Jemima Tieku holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BScN) from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, and a Master’s in Education in Adult Education (Med) from Yorkville University, New Brunswick. They have been blessed with three children – Priscilla Afua Benewa Tieku, Perez Kofi Tieku and Joseph Kwame Asiedu Tieku Jr.

Pastor & Mrs. Richard Adjei

Pastor Richard Kofi Adjei hails from Nketia near Barekese in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. He lived in Nungua, Accra, for a few years and relocated to Toronto, Canada, in 1989. He has been a member of COP from birth and accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at a tender age. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Information Systems and Finance from Ryerson University, Toronto (now Toronto Metropolitan University). He also has a certificate in Project Management from the same institution. He worked for BMO Bank of Montreal and Mckinsey & Company, a global management consulting company, for nine years in information technology before being called into full time ministry of the Church of Pentecost Canada in 2009. He served as the church’s first full-time National Youth Pastor from 2009-2015 and Administrative Manager at the National Head Office in Toronto from 2009-2014. He further served as District Pastor of PIWC North York from 2010-2012 and Edmonton District from 2014-2018. He is currently the Calgary District Pastor. He is a gifted preacher, teacher of the word, administrator. Pastor Richard has served for many years on many ministries and committees of the church including various roles on the National Youth and Children’s Ministries as well as National Pentmedia (Publicity) Committee. He is currently National Literature Committee Chairman and Area Secretary for Alberta Area. Having completed a Certificate in Theology from Pentecost University College, Accra, Ghana, He is currently completing a Bachelor of Theology degree with Canada Christian College, Toronto. Pastor Richard Adjei is married to Mrs. Gladys Boateng Adjei, a registered nurse. They are blessed with four children: Nhyira Adjei, Elikplim Ayeyi Adjei, Adoye Sifra Adjei, and Adom Adjei. He enjoys reading, sports, and computers.

Pastor & Mrs. Joseph Acheampong

Pastor Joseph Acheampong was born in Offinso in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. He became a member of the Church of Pentecost in 1992 in the Darkuman District, Greater Accra Region of Ghana. He was appointed Local Witness Leader in 1995, District Witness Secretary (Bubiashie District) in 1996, and as Assistant District Witness Leader (Toronto District) in 1999. He was ordained as Deacon in 1997, Elder in 2003, Probationary Overseer in 2007, Overseer in 2009 and into full Pastorate in 2011.  He has also served as Deputy National Youth Leader, COP Canada, (1999-2001), District Financial Secretary, PIWC North York (1999-2004), Chairman of District Finance Board PIWC, North York (2004-2007), member of the National Witness Executive (2007-2009), Area Secretary of COP Western Canada from 2012 to 2016,  a  member of Western Canada Area Executive Board (2010 to 2018), a current member of the Scarborough Area Executives(2019 to date) and is currently  the Scarborough Area Secretary (2020 to date ). He has been stationed as District Pastor in Edmonton first for COP Edmonton since December 2007 until October 2012 when he was given charge over the then newly merged Calgary-Edmonton District  which was later  split in 2014 around which time he was transferred to COP Vancouver.He was then transferred  to the then Southwestern Ontario(SWO) District as District Pastor which has now been split led into the COP Canada  London  and Windsor Districts.Further to the above, he is the National Children’s Ministry Leader (2017-to date) and a member of the National Finance Board as Pastors representative (2019-to date). Prior to his call into full-time Ministry, he worked with the sales department of a Toronto-based Company, Heavy Duty Parts.  He has a diplomat with Alliance Francaise and is currently pursuing a degree program with Above and Beyond Christian Counseling Academy. He is married to Mrs. Ama Sekyere  Acheampong, a Registered Nurse from Humber College and University of New Brunswick with a Masters Degree in Leadership  from Trinity University of Vancouver . They are blessed with four children-two girls and two boys. They are Ann-Joelle Acheampong(18), Clinton Kwaku Opoku Acheampong (15), James Mckeown Nana Yaw Dwumoh Acheampong (13) and Sarah Ewuradwoa Tabuah Acheampong (11). He is married to Mrs. Ama Sekyere Acheampong, a Registered Nurse (from Humber College and University of New Brunswick) and they are blessed with four children-two girls and two boys.

Apostle & Mrs. Joseph Fynn-Sackey

Pastor Joseph Christian Fynn-Sackey is currently the District Pastor of Vancouver District. He was the National Secretary of Church of Pentecost Canada. He also pastored PIWC North York and Downtown Toronto assemblies. He was born to late Pastor J W Sackey and Mrs Nancy Sackey in 1960. He was educated at Sekondi Secondary School, Saint Augustine’s College, University of Science and Technology and Algonquin College. Pastor Fynn-Sackey worked as Estates Officer and Property Manager with Volta River Authority and Canadian High Commission respectively in Ghana from 1989 to1998. From 1998 to 2002, he worked as Leasing Officer and Valuation Assistant with Boardwalk Equities and Municipal Property Assessment Corporation in Canada. He was called into full time ministry in COP in September 2002 and has served in the following districts: Montreal (2002 to 2006), Hamilton (2006 to 2008), Mckeown (2008 to 2012), and PIWC district North York (2012 to present). He has held the following roles in the church: National Youth Leader   (2000 to 2002), National Witness Leader (2002 to 2006), National Secretary (2010 to present). Pastor Fynn-Sackey is a teacher, counselor, prayer warrior, and a Bible expositor with evangelistic zeal. Pastor Fynn-Sackey has been married to Mercy Tachie-Menson, a registered nurse, since November 1991. Their marriage is blessed with four children- Esther, Nancy, David and Daniel.

Apostle Dr. & Mrs. Alex Agyei Gyamera

Apostle Alex was brought up in a devout Christian home. He received the word of God with a good heart and became born again in 1975. From this time forward, the zeal of the Lord was upon him as he strived assiduously to know the Lord better and serve him well. Apostle Alex was ordained as Deacon in 1993 and as an Elder in 1995. He began shepherding the flock God in 1996 as a Field Assistant to Hamilton Assembly. He was subsequently transferred to PIWC Toronto assembly. He was called into full time ministry in 1999 and was stationed at Montreal District as an Overseer (1999-2002). He was called to full Pastorate in 2002 and was stationed at the Toronto District as District Pastor until 2008. He was called as Area Head in 2008 and served as Area Head for Greater Toronto Area/Eastern Canada from 2008-2012. He has been Area Head of Western Canada since 2012-2018, now Area Head of Easter Canada. He was pastor responsible for Peel District (2008-2012), Vancouver (2012-2014), and Calgary District (2014-2018). He was called to the office of Apostle in May 2019.  Apostle Dr. Agyei-Gyamera graduated with a B.Sc. (Agriculture) and Diploma in Education in 1987 from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana. He possesses a Master of Divinity (M.Div) and a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min) degree from Canada Christian College, Toronto. Apostle & Mrs. Daniel Nii Lomotey Engmann

Apostle Daniel Nii Lomotey Engmann is the Area Head for the North York Area of the Church of Pentecost Canada Inc  He holds Bachelor of Arts in Religion from McGill University (in 1995) along a diploma in Accountancy from his early years of education in Ghana. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Saviour in 1977 upon hearing the word of God, was subsequently baptised both by immersion and of the Holy Spirit and had since not turned back. He believes in propagating the gospel, teaching converts, the word of God and just as importantly, he believes that believers must “Live” the word.  Apostle Engmann has served in various committees including the National Executive Committee, National Missions Board, National Marriage Committee, The Board of Trustees, National Children’s Ministry Patron, Zonal Leader, and an Area Coordinator for the erstwhile Western Canada Area. He is married to Mrs. Debbie (maiden name) Engmann, who holds Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Guildford College of Technology in U.K with equal passion and zeal for the gospel. She has been working humbly behind the scenes throughout her husband’s ministry given herself to prayer, nurture children, youth, and women in the church. Apostle and Mrs. Debbie Engmann have been blessed with three children: Nii-Nortey, Nii-Okwei, and Nii-Noi Engmann and a granddaughter.

Apostle & Mrs. Ransford Obeng-Gyamfi

Apostle Ransford Obeng-Gyamfi is the current National Head of the Church of Pentecost, Canada Inc.  Apostle Ransford served as a Field Assistant in Frankfurt Germany from 1995 to 1997 and was called into the full-time ministry in 1998 as a Probationary Overseer serving in Wiesbaden, Frankfurt Germany (1997-1998), Dusseldorf District Germany (1998-1999) and PIWC North York as an Associate Minister (2000-2002).   He was called into the Pastorate in 2002 and has served in Calgary District (2002-2006), Ottawa District (2006-2010), Peel District (2010-2016), and Montreal District (2016-2021). He was called to the office of Apostle in May 2021.  Apostle Ransford Obeng Gyamfi holds an Advanced Level Certificate and Diploma in Computerized Accounting. A bachelor’s and master of Practical Ministry at the Peter Wagner Institute (USA). Master’s in theology and Ministry (ongoing) at Oral Roberts University (USA) and an advanced Ministers Training Course from the Pentecost Leadership Institute in Leominster, USA. God has graced Apostle Ransford with the burden of expanding His Kingdom through church planting. He planted assemblies in Wiesbaden, Frankfurt, Manheim, Koblenz, Giessen, and Darmstadt, all in Germany. In Canada he planted assemblies in Red Deer, Mount Pleasant, now Triumph PIWC in Brampton, West Island in Montreal, Laval Fountain Gate, Quebec City, and Joliette Assembly, a Swahili-language church. He has served in the Church of Pentecost as a National Evangelism Ministry Leader (2010-2015), Member of the National Finance Board (2004- 2016), and National Executive member (2016 to date). He also served as Acting National Head on numerous occasions. Apostle Ransford has served on the boards of King of Glory Early Childhood Education in Koforidua Ghana and Glory Hills International School in Accra Ghana Aps Ransford Gyamfi is married to Mrs. Irene Obeng-Gyamfi, and they are blessed with four boys – Ransford Jnr, Israel Terry, Jeffrey, and Elgin.
