Apostle James Mckeown Quainoo is the Area Head of the WESTERN Canada Area of the Church of Pentecost Canada overseeing branches of the Church in Ontario Province, Canada. He has been in full time ministry since 1999 and has pioneered, pastored and led many churches and ministries in Canada including Vancouver, Hamilton, London Ontario, PIWC (North York), Montreal, Ottawa and was also the minister in charge of Mckeown District in Toronto. He has served as the National Secretary and is presently the Acting Chairman of Pentecost Community Development Agency (PENTCDA), Chairman of the National Pensions Board, member of the National Trustee Board, member of the National Executive Council, Youth Patron and Vice Chairman of the Ghanaian Ministerial Fellowship of Toronto. He was called to the office of Apostle in May, 2019. 

He made a switch from petroleum geology to theology in response to the call of God on his life in 1994. He studied at the University of Ghana, has a Master of Christian Studies degree from Regent College, Vancouver and is currently undertaking studies toward the Doctor of Ministry degree with Tyndale Theological Seminary, Toronto. Pastor James is a dynamic preacher and teacher, church planter, counselor, worshipper and fervent in prayer. He has a strong passion for students and the youth. His desire has always been to connect people to Jesus Christ and to see a holistic transformation and development of the world through the Church. He has also been an advocate for the integration of social intervention with the proclamation of the gospel and has thus facilitated many medical missions to Ghana.

Apostle James likes soccer, reading, travelling, jazz music and singing. He is happily married to Emily and they have two grown children, Berylla and Daniel.
