Did you know that you can avoid death? This may sound strange and incredible, yet it is true. Moses knew this very well when he said to the people of Israel in Deuteronomy 30:19: I call heaven and earth this day against you, and that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life that both thou and thy seed may live.

In our day, choosing life simply means giving over your life to Jesus Christ so that He will reign in you as Lord and Savior. Believe in Him and you will avoid death.  Jesus said in John 11;25: … I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and beliveth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

What is this life Jesus talks about? It is not merely the temporary and hurtful life here on earth. Rather, it is the new life in Christ Jesus. It is the re-awakening of the dead spirit in you and everlasting fellowship with God when you trust and confess Jesus as Lord and Savior. This new life is yours for the taking. Jesus presents Himself to you; just accept Him. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Choose Life and live.
